Between the four bucket sizes, hydraulic thumb, quick coupler, ripper, auger, breaker, grapple, and other attachments, the R32 arrives ready for essentially any job I take on. Would be thousands in add-ons on other machines.
Small excavation contractor here. The R32 has made me competitive on jobs I couldn't have quoted with a smaller machine. Between the capability and the included attachments the return on investment has been fast.
Do a mix of residential property work and small commercial jobs. The R32 is exactly right - enough capability for real commercial work, compact enough for residential access. Right machine for my business.
Winter work in frozen ground would be impossible without the ripper. Included with the machine and swaps in via the quick coupler. Extends my working season by months and lets me quote winter emergency work.
Without the 12 attachments and 4-year warranty this would be a 3-star machine. With them included the value works. The Kubota engine is genuinely good. The rest is competent but not premium.
