Reviews
The R10 does what a 1-ton compact should do. It's not refined and doesn't excel at anything except size. If tight access is your priority, this is a fair option. If you don't need compact, buy bigger.
Run a small landscape and drainage business. The R10 has been the missing piece - fits every property I work on and does real digging. Went from hand-labor days to machine-days, huge margin improvement.
For weekend homeowner and light side-business use the R10 is fine. If you're planning daily commercial use you'd probably want to spend more on a name brand. Set expectations accordingly.
Residential landscape installation - drainage, plantings, hardscape excavation. The R10 fits every job site and does real work. My laborers appreciate not having to hand-dig everything anymore.
The essentials all function - engine starts, hydraulics work, tracks turn. Fit and finish is clearly value-tier. Some plastic is cheap and paint is thin in spots. For the price it's acceptable.
